Two weeks before a milestone, a team lead tells you the vendor integration will be late. Your last status report showed green. What should you do first?

  1. Keep the status green until the delay is confirmed
  2. Assess the impact, update the status and tell the sponsor with options
  3. Add people to the vendor team
  4. Escalate to the vendor's management
